Cultbricks Product Safety and Quality

This website (Cultbricks.de) offers modified plastic construction toy elements that are explicitly aimed at adults only! The modification (customization) consists of additional applied printing to the elements. The modification takes place in our own workshop in Berlin (Germany) with full control over production. There is no outsourcing to external providers.

Please note that all products offered on this website are NOT LEGO® products. They are reused LEGO elements that have been repackaged or modified in their original form. LEGO® and the Minifigure are trademarks of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse these products. The LEGO Group is not liable for any loss, injury or damage resulting from the use or misuse of these products.

Despite the explicit focus of our products towards adults only, it is of course extremely important for us to ensure that children in particular cannot be harmed by the modification of the elements through our printing. We also make sure that the printing meets the highest quality standards and that the function and quality of the elements themselves is not affected by our added printing.

For this reason, only the pad printing process is used. The products on Cultbricks.de are only printed with colors that are approved for children's toys in Germany (and the E.U.).

The heavy metal-free pigmented inks comply with DIN EN 71 and offer maximum mechanical and chemical resistance for a long service life. They feature lowest PAH values, are formulated without the use of any aromatic solvents and suitable for applications according to the directive 2009/48/EC (“Toys directive DIN EN 71/3”). There is of course a choking hazard for the modified elements due to small parts that can be swallowed, but this danger is in no way increased by the printing applied by Cultbricks. The elements are especially not suitable for children under 3 years (36 months) due to their small size!
