Cultbricks Product Safety and Quality

This website (Cultbricks.de) offers modified plastic construction toy elements that are explicitly aimed at adults (collectors) only! The modification (customization) consists of additional applied printing to the elements. The modification takes place in our own workshop in Berlin (Germany) with full control over production. There is no outsourcing to external providers.

Please note that all products offered on this website are NOT LEGO® products. They are reused LEGO elements that have been repackaged or modified in their original form. LEGO® and the Minifigure are trademarks of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse these products. The LEGO Group is not liable for any loss, injury or damage resulting from the use or misuse of these products.

Despite the explicit focus of our products on adults, it is of course extremely important for us to ensure that a high level of product safety is guaranteed and that the print does not negatively affect the function and quality of the elements.

For this reason, only the pad printing process is used. The products on Cultbricks.de are only printed with colors that are approved for children's toys in Germany (and the E.U.).

The heavy metal-free pigmented paints comply with DIN EN 71, feature lowest PAH values, are formulated without the use of aromatic solvents and suitable for applications in accordance with directive 2009/48/EC (“Toys directive DIN EN 71/3”). Data sheet of the manufacturer.

There is of course a choking hazard for the modified elements due to the involved small parts that can be swallowed, independent of the additionally applied printing. Therefore the elements are especially not suitable for children under 3 years (36 months)!

It should be emphasized once again that the products on cultbricks.de are explicitly aimed at adults only and were not produced for (intensive) play.
